Ballaarat Yacht Club has an extensive sailing program for juniors with club racing, learning to sail programs and social sailing. BYC is strongly supported by Yachting Victoria having accredited sailing instructors leading the junior Learn to Sail program TACKERS.

Tackers 1 For beginners
9.00am - 12.00 noon every Saturday. Commencing January 30.

Cost for club members $120 (or $6.0 / hr)
Non Club Members $240 (or $12.0/hr)
All equipment supplied ,boats, life jackets, sun screen, as well as Morning and afternoon tea.
Suggest wearing suitable loose fitting clothes or wet suits if you have them and sandshoes with swimming costumes underneath and broad brim sun hats.

The Ballaarat Yacht Club has an in-house café which provides a fantastic café menu for both BYC Members as well as the general public with drinks at member prices. Become a Social Club Member and pay "Loyalty" Member prices.

Sail number 197284, has not been used much in the last couple of years. Very good boat that has never leaked. Comes with;
