Come and Try Windsurfing

Ever wondered what it’s like to Windsurf? Join us for a Come Try and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring the Ballarat Yacht Club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about windsurfing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions
• Recommended minimum age for this event is 15 years of age

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

Come along, give windsurfing a go, and see where the wind takes you!

What to wear when windsurfing: Bring bathers, rashvest and towel and ideally a suitable wetsuit. 
If you have your own PFD, feel free to bring that as well.  Lake Wendouree water can be cold.  Do not wear cotton clothing.

New Members (never tried sailing before or not a current Sailing Australia member)?
